Baron Davis made the somewhat shocking decision to sign with the Clippers yesterday for 5 years and 65 million dollars yesterday. While I'm not in the crowd that thinks that believes that this move coupled with the resigning of Elton Brand (and the return of Shaun Livingston) makes the Clippers instant contenders in the West, I do think that it makes them someone who could surprise a couple people

I don't have much interest in Baron Davis for the Sixers, but he's officially on the market . I don't know where these guys think the money is going to come from. At this point, the Sixers, Grizzlies, maybe the Clippers and maybe the Warriors have significant cap space. Maybe they're looking for sign and trade deals to get them to contenders.
