Via Jim Baumbach - GM Brian Cashman, Girardi, the coaching staff and special assistant to the GM Tino Martinez met behind closed doors in Girardi's office before the game for about a half-hour. Several roster decisions are looming. So, does this mean Tino is the new Stick Michael? This is good news to me. From what I've read, Martinez was a huge part of what was working well back when he was on the team - and I'm talking about things other than his batting and fielding. This is very good news, indeed.
