If you were thinking about drafting Jacksonville wide receiver Matt Jones for some ungodly reason, I might hold off on those plans. Jones was arrested earlier this morning in Arkansas for possession of cocaine. He looks pretty pissed in his mug shot, and rightfully so: He was booked at 4:11 this morning! For the most part, Jones has underwhelmed as an NFL receiver after being the 21st pick in the 2005 out of Arkansas. He played quarterback in college but transitioned to wide receiver in the pros due to his massive frame and good speed. Matt Jones has been an unequivocal failure at receiver, even for the standards of a white receiver, since the Jaguars drafted the 6' 6" former Arkansas QB with their first-round pick in 2005. Matt Jones (Who!?) was picked up earlier this week while sitting in a parking lot, in a car that contained cocaine. But wait! He’s innocent, man - Just ask his father.
