Two Receivers off the Board: Donte' Stallworth and Bernard Berrian
Enriquefed posted 3/1/2008 from allthingsphillysports.blogspot.com
Unless the Eagles can sign Randy Moss, it looks like the Birds will have to get a top receiver through a trade, because two of the best free agent wide receivers have just been signed. Donte' Stallworth signed with the Cleveland Browns, and Bernard Berrian was signed by the Minnesota Vikings. There is no way to know if the Eagles were interested in bringing in either player, but it's safe to say..Mort Says Eagles Team to Watch if Randy Moss Doesn't Return to New England

Eagles fans seem generally excited about the Asante Samuel signing, and most of them would also like to see the team make a run at Randy Moss . A second option, perhaps even more unlikely, is the rumor that Philadelphia is interested in Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald . Jacques Reeves signed with the Texans today. I will tell ya, it’s good to see him gone because he caused a lot of heartache this season. His coverage skills were inconsistent and he really wasn’t very good. Despite that, he surprisingly gets a 5 year $20 million deal with the Texas. Yikes.
