Shockey's a playmaker and it’s not as if the Giants are loaded with firepower. As long as Shockey doesn’t pull a Chad Johnson, then the Giants should keep him. Shockey shocker -- he's still a Giant
Day 1 of the NFL Draft was a wacky day. Every time I looked up it seemed someone was trading spots in the draft. The only trade that didn't happen was the one we were all expecting -- Jeremy Shockey to the New Orleans Saints. So, at least for now, Shockey is still a Giant. According to Ralph Vacchiano's Blue Screen blog, the Shockey trade was never as close to happening as many experts ...
No Sheppard, Shockey, or Taylor Trades Yet
So, it’s the end of the first day of the draft, and Jason Taylor, Lito Sheppard, and Jeremy Shockey have not been traded. Also, Chad Johnson, Roy Williams, and Anquan Boldin haven’t been either. It’s a little surprising that Shockey and Sheppard are still with their teams. The Saints refused to offer more than second and sixth round pick for Shockey. They could really use ...
Jeremy Shockey Remains a Giant ... For Now
... and after all of that talk, Jeremy Shockey is still a Giant. It was the Saints second-round pick, 40th overall, that has been linked to Shockey for, about, forever now. Each second that ticked off the clock reduced the chances of a trade being worked out, and with about 30 seconds left the Saints decided to hand the card in themselves for cornerback Tracy Porter . The fact that the pick ...
Giants TE Shockey Set to Become a Saint?
One of the big questions of today’s draft is will Giants TE Jeremy Shockey be in blue at the day’s end? I would at this point have to say - no. Why would the Saints want ...

SAINTS OFFER TWO PICKS FOR SHOCKEY
We’re hoping that the Saints and the Giants work out a trade for tight end Jeremy Shockey, because the story is entering the realm of the Brett Favre retirement/unretirement watch. The Word ‘Earned’ Now Completely Null And Void
A quote from this article from ESPN.com regarding Jeremy Shockey’s possible trade to the Saints: The 28-year-old Shockey, who earned the first NFL championship of his career in January, broke his leg on Dec. 16 in a game against the Washington Redskins and did not play in the Super Bowl. Shockey’s 2008 playoff numbers: 0 catches, 0 [...]

The Seahawks Have Unofficially Entered the Jeremy Shockey Sweepstakes
This actually makes a lot of sense: the Seahawks need a tight end, and Jeremy Shockey , should he become available, fits the description.
