After resembling the Tin Woodsman for the last month, the Cubs showed yesterday that maybe they do have some heart after-all. In defeating the Cardinals 12-3, the Cubs are back in a tie with the Brewers for first. Apparently the Cubs really thought the debacle that was the Pittsburgh series over on the plane ride home. According to Ted Lilly : "After losing the game in Pittsburgh, a lot of guys were upset about it, and it kind of rolled over into today's game, and they definitely took it out on the pitching today." It would be nice if this team can stay angry.
