This isn't based on any of the stories that were circulating when Jim Edmonds was cut but while watching the Cubs at Astros game tonight on ESPN, I saw Edmonds make a big catch over his shoulder while running up the hill at Minute Maid Park, similar to the infamous Willie Mays catch you always see on highlight reels. But unlike Mays, Edmonds was turned the wrong way at one point while tracking the ball and still made the catch. ...
