What a NASCAR fist fight! The drivers are battling for every inch of the NASCAR high bank track in Dover at a cool 155 mph. Following a restart on Lap 31, Logano was hit by Bobby Labonte going into Turn 3. The rookie driver slowed down after the contact but got hit from behind by Tony Stewart. Logano lost control and slid up the track, where Reed Sorenson hit him in the side of his vehicle and sent him barrel-rolling seven times, thank God he’s is O.K..Jimmie Johnson dominated again in the “Sprint Cup” Chase, sweeping the season races at Dover International Speedway to headed for a fourth straight Sprint Cup title. He will be tough to beat, 271 of the 1-mile laps from the pole in first place Sunday. Johnson won for the fifth time at Dover. Forget all the fortune telling about a win at Dover means you never win the Sprint Cup. Jimmie Johnson is just disciplined and will shoot holes in that stat, in the races leading up to the “Banking 500 only from Bank of America”. Johnson cut Hendrick Motorsports teammate Mark Martin's points lead Sunday with the win - his fourth of the year and 44th overall - in the second of 10 races in the Chase for the championship. Martin holds only a 35-point lead over Johnson in the points standings. While Martin is chasing his first career Cup title, Johnson is poised to win his fourth straight in the No. 48 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports. The on going battle between Martin and Johnson is just the ability of these two driver’s to perform at level that other drivers have to adapt quickly or get lost in the shuffle! The Banking 500 will be the deciding factor of who wins this fist fight.
