According to an article on espn.com (click here to view), the Yankees have officially announced that Joba Chamberlain will at least start the season pitching out of the bullpen. It is unknown at this point it the Yankees plan on moving him into the rotation or not later on this season, though they do see him as a starter long-term. I’m not buying that there is a chance that he moves to the rotation this season. If he’s successful in the role, I just don’t see the Yankees messing with what is working for them, unless the rotation is decimated by injuries. Mixed leaguers ...
