Joe Buck should be removed from MLB broadcasts yesterday
Let me start by saying I don't like Joe Buck. In fact, I've never liked Joe Buck. When I watch Saturday afternoon baseball or the playoffs on Fox, it takes everything in my power to stop from hitting the mute button. He doesn't add anything to my enjoyment of the game and, more often than not, his refusal to never shut up and let the game breathe a little bit makes for the equivalent of a ... [link]

Leave Joe Buck Alone!, Or Why Joe Buck is Not the Baseball Anti-Christ
Published 7/3/2008 by Eamonn Brennan at FanHouse
... Buck got pilloried. In case you haven't been around, Buck called in to Colin Cowherd's consistently irritating radio show to talk about modern sports media and the way fans don't watch weeknight games anymore. He also admitted the one thing sports personalities should probably never admit -- he's not all that enthusiastic about baseball anymore. Bad Joe. Bad. The response has been predictable. Awful Announcing, who originally pulled the audio, is outraged; Big League Stew's Kevin Kaduk is angry; and our own Will Brinson followed suit. All of ...

Joe Buck Admits He Rarely Watches Sports And Doesn't Enjoy Baseball Anymore

Buck: Bored By Baseball, Has To Cram For Games

Sports talk radio is the place where announcers and analysts take off the masks and tell us how they really feel about the sports they cover and the people playing them — because they really don’t think anyone is listening. Last month,  ...

Joe Buck Prefers the Bachelorette to Baseball and Does Not Really Enjoy Calling Games

I knew there was a reason why I have always been so down on Joe Buck , and now, after hearing him talk to Colin Cowherd today (via Awful Announcing ), I no longer have to blame it on: "works and apparently enjoys the company of Tim McCarver ." As you ...

Buck tees off on baseball.

Joe Buck is no shill for Major League Baseball. Far from it, in fact. Not only can Buck rarely be bothered to broadcast games, calling fourteen regular season games in the past two years, but he has made it known that he does not enjoy the game as ...

Heartwarming July 4 clarification: Joe Buck loves baseball
I've been busy being on vacation and not watching baseball, but fortunately my friend/competitor Richard Sandomir at the Times followed up on the big Joe Buck unpleasantness of earlier this week since I was unavailable. That's why I recommend the Times as an occasionally useful second read after you have enjoyed your morning Newsday. Here is that story. Joe says he loves baseball and ...
Joe Buck comes clean
By now you've likely heard Joe Buck's candid and not-altogether-unexpected revelation about his life away from the broadcast booth. If you haven't, I'll touch on it, and you can also go here for the breakdown . And if you're waiting for the NBA angle, it will show up, eventually. Buck went on one of those miserable radio chat shows to tell the world that he doesn't watch much baseball ...
I Strongly Dislike Joe Buck
I try not to use the word 'hate' very often. It's like 'love' that way. The more you use it, the faster it loses its meaning. However, when describing the way Joe Buck makes me feel when I watch a FOX Sporting event, the word 'hate' does come to mind... along with classics like 'hurl', 'shut up' and 'bitch-slap'. In any case, another guy that makes me feel this awesome is Colin Cowherd. ...
Joe Buck: Even A Bigger Douche Than We Thought
Not only is Joe Buck an arrogant prick, he doesn't even watch sports. That's something nice for the main announcer for, ya know, the World Series on Fox, or the Super Bowl when it's on Fox. He talked about his lack of sports viewing on ESPN Radio today , and how he'd rather watch The Bachleorette.
Joe Buck Is Tired Of Broadcasting Baseball Games
The real reason to get into sports radio - porking potential Playboy Playmates . • Joe Buck bellows that he’s now bored with baseball . There was one thing I liked about my Milwaukee Brewers 2007 Choke Job

Why the ...
Why is Joe Buck still calling baseball games?
Joe Buck went on the Colin Cowherd show today and said some things you wouldn’t expect baseball’s most prominent and baseball announcer to say. During the whole interview he sounded very down and unenthusiastic about baseball, also complaining about the amount of ...

Joe Buck hates Mom, Baseball, Apple Pie. Loves the Bachelorette.

Joe Buck calls out national pastime, is called out himself
Interesting TV/radio/blogosphere debate going on today in the wake of comments by Fox's Joe Buck in which he expresses his ambivalence about following baseball in its current state.
