JOE GIRARDI POLITELY DISAGREES
Published 5/23/2008 at With Leather - Sports news and gossip for your impressionable young children
... Orioles-Yankees game, New York manager Joe Girardi disagreed with the called third strike on Jason Giambi, quite possibly the first iffy call in history to go against the Yankees in Yankee Stadium.  What followed was the ol'-fashioned yell-stomp-throw-kick leading to an ejection (and soon after, a game-winning rally) -- and the home crowd went bonkers for it.  Other things the home crowd loves: Derek Jeter, chinstrap beards, and calling people "faggot." Video of Joe Girardi Getting Ejected
While the New York Yankees aren’t winning many games this season, at least their manager is doing a good job getting ejected. I give Girardi a B+ for his eruption that led to his ejection against the Baltimore Orioles. You can see a video of the ejected Joe Girardi at the end of this entry. Not everything is fun and games for the Yankees right now. In fact, the last place Yankees could be ...

Game 47 - Yankees Yankees 2, Orioles 1 Record: 22-25 Well, well, well...look what we have here. Six solid from Ian Kennedy, Veras and Farnsworth (wow) throwing heat in the 7th and 8th and Rivera in the 9th (nice vulture win Mo). The game winning hit from the artist formerly known as Robinson Cano. And a fantastic ejection for Joe Girardi (Zapruder footage here) on a very weird call in the
G-MAN GETS TOSSED BILLY/LOU STYLE
Congratulations to Joe Girardi on his first ejection as Yankees manager. He put on a good show. He had a little Billy with a touch of Lou. The only thing I saw wrong with what Joe did was that he didn't come out with his hat on sideways. Ken Singleton nailed it though. It's not seen on this video clip but Singleton pointed out that the ump didn't call it until the catcher said ...
Girardi!
Finally a little fire in the Yankees! Manager Joe Girardi was ejected in Thursday game against the Orioles for a called third strike on Jason Giambi. Giambi was looking at two strike before an inside pitched seemed to clip his bat knob as O's catcher Ramon Hernandez held onto the ball for the out. Home plate umpire Chris Guccione, who ejected Girardi, made a delayed call, almost seemingly waiting
Girardi/Cano Get Animated...Yanks Win
Anthony Dicomo/MLB.com: From the comforts of his manager's office, with its wide desk and leather couch, Joe Girardi sat on Thursday night and watched about five minutes of baseball. Perhaps still simmering a bit from his ejection only moments earlier, Girardi watched as Robinson Cano laced a walk-off single through the left side of the infield, and as Hideki Matsui motored around from ...
