... facing some of the pitchers who had baffled them just one weekend before, the Sox scored 26 runs in three games. To put it another way, the Sox had scored 17 runs in the eight -- EIGHT! -- games coming in. If that's not a welcome change, I don't know what is. The star of the weekend, though, clearly has has to be rookie Brandon Moss, who played so hard Friday night, his appendix nearly exploded . On the upside, though, at least he didn't break his hand punching a door -- unlike some other ballplayers .
