The point spread for the Kansas Memphis game is out and the betting line is a thin one. Memphis opens up as a 1 point favorite over Kansas. The over under is 146. Even though UCLA isn’t involved, this should still be a hell of a game. Would you lay down on that spread? Ben Howland does really really good in the NCAA tournament. Get this. UCLA under Ben Howland has won half of their games as an underdog. I think it is safe to say that the #1-ranked Memphis Tigers are a legitimate contender for the NCAA basketball crown, especially after Sunday’s matchup against #2 Texas. Memphis can thank Chris Douglas-Roberts and Derrick Rose as they combined for 46 points, helping the Tigers reach the Final Four for the first time since 1985, defeating the Longhorns, 85-67 in the NCAA South ...Memphis' Possible Dilemma

Memphis guard Derrick Rose has clearly established himself as one of the top two players in the 2008 NBA Draft, assuming he declares for the draft. The Memphis Grizzlies have established themselves as one of the worst teams in the NBA, giving them a decent shot at grabbing one of the top two picks in the 2008 NBA Draft. When the score read 81-69 with the Bulls trailing going into the fourth, I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who expected a blowout. Instead the Bulls played well enough in the 4th quarter to make a comeback and came a Ben Gordon three pointer away from tying the game at 106 to send it to overtime. Instead the Bulls lost 106-103 to the Atlanta Hawks, fell 4 games behind Atlanta and now ...The Sweet Profile: Memphis Tigers
