This picture was taken during the practice round at Royal Birkdale. It was a picture of two former British Open champions at the butt-end of their career, just hoping to have a little lightening strike at times and maybe make a check. My, what a difference two days make. David Duval shot 73-69 to land in a tie for fourth, looking sharp in all aspects of his game for the first time in years. ...

Now I know what you're thinking. No way should you assume a guy is "back" when he's played golf well for two days. This guy hasn't been good since 2001 and has fallen so far off the map, new golf fans have no clue who he even is.
