John Smoltz New Strikeout King in Atlanta
Smoltz passed Phil "Knucksie" Neikro's mark of 2,912 strikeouts in the third inning of Atlanta's win yesterday over the Brewers. Caps off a record-setting couple of weeks for the Braves. First skipper Bobby Cox (most times tossed from games), now Smoltz.
