... Well, whaddyah expect when you’re forced to field this lineup due to injuries?
Add Rolen, Lind, Rios and Overbay in there at the end of this week and you’ve got a team.
Overbay confirms that Champion field sucks.
The Jays could sign Bonds with the league minimum salary they get from the A’s signing Thomas (if you take his agent literally).

THE 'C' WORD: Barry Bonds' agent is again talking collusion as he finds zero interest for his client. (si.com)

Still no job for Bonds
Published 4/25/2008 by Bjoern at Mojo Blog
... really get Bonds for a low seven figure offer, I’m sure at least some offers would come in. If he proves to be too big of a distraction, you can still cut him like the Jays did with Frank Thomas. It really looks like the teams either want to go with the (younger) players they have or want to send a signal (what signal would that be?). Pick what is more plausible to you. His personality or legal worries alone can’t be the reason he is still not playing.
