... Jerry McDonald is reporting that Lamont Jordan was not allowed to practice today at the beginning of the Oakland Raiders mandatory mini camp. Really, it’s no surprise that he wasn’t allowed to practice since getting injured would put the Raiders on the hook for his contract that he’s currently in. The only other player absent from mini camp was Nnamdi Asomugha who is still waiting on either a long term contract and has yet to sign the exclusive franchise tag tender given by the Raiders.
