I like it how they take the time to tell you that "this is gonna start some shit."

I can't remember who the hack-y comic that came up with this was, but he was right: the guy that can't stop talking about how "crazy" he is, is usually really isn't all that crazy.

On with your bad self, etc.

    Great interview.

I had a good chuckle when Buzz said " I shouldn’t have treated Mr. Leitch the way I should have. "

That is not quite saying sorry!!

... H.G. “Buzz” Bissinger’s latest give & take with The Starting Five’ Michael Tillery is not completely without merit ; the former has some relatively sensible things to say about the state of modern journalism, Philadelphia’s sporting scene and his own career. That said, Bissinger has hardly cooled off regarding tackling dummy Will Leitch, nor has he developed a particularly sophisticated take on a medium other than his own. ...

Our Conversation With Buzz Bissinger [Well, Hello There, Sir]
Published 6/27/2008 by Will Leitch at Deadspin
For the last few months, since that rather festive "Costas Now" business, we have been loathe to expand much more on our initial reaction. But as Buzz Bissinger has continued to give interviews to the "respectable" media, making his "points," we felt compelled to talk one last time, to wrap this whole business up. Buzz graciously agreed for a semi-wide-ranging conversation — which has taken place over email over the last week — to be published on the site today. So, here it is. Enjoy.
