Despite the news that EliteXC has pulled Nick Diaz from the May 11th DREAM.3 show, the official DREAM website still has him listed on the fight card. There’s also no mention of Diaz’s withdrawal in the Japanese sports media. Since its just after 2 PM Tokyo time as I’m writing this I doubt ...Fox Sports posts outdated story on Diaz at DREAM

There’s still nothing on the EliteXC about the newly formed partnership, but DREAM has a story on their official site. Nothing really revelatory and mostly press release type sound bites. A brief article in today’s NikkanSports suggests that the DREAM.3 light heavyweight GP matchup between Eddie Alverez and Joaquim Hansen might as well be considered the “de facto final” of the tournament.
