Larry Johnson Out for Season? I Have My Doubts
Published 11/6/2007 by Phil Yoon at Home of the Chiefs
A big nod to Chris at Arrowhead Pride, who dug up this story from Colorado:  Larry Johnson may be done for the year. According to MyFox31 Colorado,  Johnson suffered a broken bone in his foot.  While his injury appeared to be more serious than the foot sprain officially disclosed by the team, a broken foot was certainly worse than anyone imagined or feared. One problem with the reliability of this source:  it says Johnson broke a bone in his left foot.  Johnson, of course, injured his right foot during the game. Is Fox Colorado trying to drum up rumors, or was it just a case of shoddy editing in a rush to get the article up?  LJ was sure to miss ...

Despite any rumors to the contrary… LJ diagnosed with a “sprained right foot”
Published 11/7/2007 by Chris Kolb at KC Chiefs Fanatic
Evidently a member of the “media” in Denver has decided that the only way they could motivate the Broncos fan base was to stir up a completely unfounded rumor on Chiefs RB Larry Johnson and the injury he suffered against Green Bay last Sunday. According to an “unnamed source” within the Chiefs organization, LJ suffered a broken bone in his left foot (even though it was clearly his right foot that he injured) and will be out for the entire season. Now if that doesn’t sound absolutely preposterous to you on first thought, you might want to have head checked because you’re probably a Broncos fan, or worse, an Al Davis clone. You can check out the rumor here and I ...
