... UPDATE: The team has posted again on their blog with the lineups for both halves. Watson scored in the 7th minute to give KC the lead. Just before the half, Kevin Hartman saved a PK to keep the score at 1-0. The interesting fact is that the Wizards went away from the 3-5-2 in this game, playing a standard 4-4-2 diamond. Other interesting bit of information, Colombano didn't play against his former team. ...

KC got their trip off to a “good” start with a 1-0 win over Defensa y Justicia. Game notes from the team blog: Lance Watson grabbed the only goal of the game in the 7th minute. Good start to the preseason for him. Only appeared in two games last season, so he’ll be fighting for some more playing time. Defensa y Justicia had a penalty saved in the 43rd minute by Kevin Hartman. Big news whenever your keeper saves a penalty. Still the preseason, but Hartman’s play this season will help set the pace for 2008. ...
