And then there were ones. Four No. 1s, that is. Kansas wore down Stephen Curry and plucky upstart Davidson with its size and strength, holding on for a 59-57 victory Sunday that put all four No. 1 seeds into the Final Four for the first time. After Kansas' Sherron Collins missed with 19 seconds left, the 10th-seeded Wildcats got one last chance.

... Are you joking? Arguably their toughest game was at UNLV, their second toughest against Davidson last night. But let's call a spade a spade, Kansas had not right losing that game. It just doesn't happen. I don't care if Davidson was shooting for the win. Kansas wins that game. They're just the better team. But along the way, the Jayhawks missed out on Clemson, Vandy, USC, K-State, Wisconson, Gonzaga and Georgetown. How lucky do you get? ...

You go to bed with 3 minutes left in the game. That's right...I chose sleep. The Chalmers shot which I watched thanks to Youtube here at work was pretty crazy, but the overtime looked like it was all Kansas, so did I really miss that much? I'm leaning towards no. I did enjoy watching the Chicago products play each other, though. Sherron Collins was all in D-Rose's face the entire night which ...

No need for the NBA last night, as Kansas and Memphis gave us one of the best national championship games we’ve seen in a long time. The two deepest and most talented teams in the country got major contributions from a lot of guys, but the night will ultimately be remembered for [...]
Halftime Report Card: Kansas 33, Memphis 28 —
College Basketball by Collegehoops.net
We're halfway to knowing who our national champion will be, and Kansas heads into the break with a five-point lead after scoring the half's final five points. Sherron Collins, thought by some to be headed to a fate similar to that experienced by other undersized guards who have encountered Memphis in the Tournament, has been a spark on both ends of the floor. For Memphis, Derrick Rose needs ...

The theme of National Semifinal Saturday wasn't the dominance of Chicago-bred point guards Derrick Rose (25 points, nine rebounds, four assists for Memphis) and Sherron Collins (11 points, four assists and load's of tough defense for Kansas). It wasn't UCLA going to their third consecutive Final Four and heading back to Los Angeles without a championship all three times. And it definitely ...

Beasley got jipped (photo. KSU)
Tyler Hansbrough.
It’s almost as if people think that the Big 12 is a mid-major. While Michael Beasley’s 26.2 points and 12.4 rebounds per night are better than the 25.8 and 11.1 figures of last year’s Naismith POY, Kevin Durant, they are not good enough to get him the nod [...]
ESPN's Pardon the Interruption Opens With Kansas-Davidson April Fool's Joke —
FanHouse
Today's installment of Pardon the Interruption began with an April Fool's joke that was treated as a startling revelation: Kansas and Davidson will have to re-play the last 16 seconds of Sunday's game because an error allowed Kansas guard Sherron Collins to keep playing after his fifth foul. Michael Wilbon argued that it's a great idea, saying, "Now we see a situation where the mid-major is ...
