The Rays and ace LHP Scott Kazmir have agreed on a four-year contract extension, which will guarantee the lefty $28.5 million and has a maxium value of approximately $39.5 million. Per St. Pete Times. The 2012 season is a team option, so essentially the Rays have bought out an extra two seasons at roughly 7 mil per year.  Very, VERY good deal, barring Kazmir's arm ... [link]
