The Board of Trustees has approved the expansion of the Kenan Stadium complex.  The first phase is to add two floors to the Kenan Football Center which will add room for various team needs and “16-20 luxury boxes” which Kenan presently does not have.  Apparently UNC and Duke are the only ACC schools lacking luxury suites in their football stadium.  The fact UNC has been compared to Duke in football at any level is a fairly shameful development.  This phase is supposed to be completed before the 2009 season. ...

For all of us Tar Heels football fans there is good news coming in from the Board of Trustees. As of their last meeting they have approved the first phase of plans for the expansion of Kenan Stadium. Which means that the great stadium is a step closer to becoming bigger and better! ...

UNC vs Appalachian State, not quite yet!

A little blog caught my eye as I was reading around the ACC blogosphere. It talks about the Appalachian State head coach wanting to play North Carolina. Even stating that coach Jerry Moore has tried to schedule the Tar Heels in his schedule and that Carolina has "balked" at it.
