  I'd be more impressed if the Beckett v. Lofton from 2005 (Phils/Marlins) was at the end of the video

  BTW They "fought"/argued for the same reason in 2005

  Kenny Lofton is a quick guy on the basepaths, but he ran at the mound like he had concrete shoes on.  He wanted nothing to do with Beckett.

... Most of you have probably shut down the CPU for the night, but South Florida just went the length of the field and scored to trim the Rutgers lead to 30-27 with about eight minutes left. The Scarlet Knights have successfully pulled off a fake punt and a fake field goal (for a touchdown). As you can see above (props to Awful Announcing), Boston and Cleveland is getting quite heated. Josh Beckett and Kenny Lofton nearly got into a fight in the fifth inning (that Lofton’s so damn pesky!), and the Red Sox are clinging to a 4-1 lead in the 8th. Beckett’s been tremendous (five hits and 10k’s), and it looks like unless Eric Gagne gets in the game, this series is going back to Boston. ...

For most of last night's game, Josh Beckett worked like an evil surgeon, dispatching the Indians without prejudice -- and without any obvious emotion. As a Sox fan, it was a calming experience to watch. So long as the defense didn't let him down (hello, Julio Lugo getting in Dustin Pedroia's way!), I was reasonably calm that the Indians weren't getting more than a run or two. Of course, there was that sixth inning outburst, which Awful Announcing passes along the morning. Um, what happened here? According to scouting reports, Josh Becket is 6-foot-5 and weighs 220 pounds. Kenny Lofton is 5-foot-11 and 190. While I severely doubt Lofton's actually that big -- doesn't look bigger than 175, if you ask me -- one thing is clear: To approach Beckett like that... insanity. That would be pretty impressive if numbers weren't so damn boring.  But Beckett showed plenty of fire throughout, exchanging words with Vinny Testaverde Kenny Lofton in a near bench-clearing scuffle in the fifth inning (Awful Announcing has video).  Lofton was pulled back by teammates before breaking a hip, and quickly put to bed.  Damn kids today got no respect, I tell ya. ...
