The NFL announced it's slate of Primetime offerings to be featured Opening Weekend of the NFL Season and the Broncos, despite missing the playoffs for the 2nd straight season have made the list. Featured as the 2nd of the Monday Night Double-Header on September 8th, 2008, the Broncos will travel to Oakland to face the hated Raiders, with kickoff scheduled for 10:15PM est/8:15PM mst. Lucas Oil Stadium better be ready to go by early September, because the brand new stadium will host NBC's Football Night in America on Sunday, September 7th at 8:15pm. It's then that the Colts will host the Chicago Bears in a re-match of Super Bowl 41. The earlier Thursday night game will pit the defending champion NY Giants against the Washington Redskins, who will debut their new head coach Jim Zorn. Earlier this week, the NFL approved a number of rule changes, and one of them gives teams the ability to put a radio receiver in the helmet of a defensive player. Previously, only quarterbacks have been able to have radios in their helmets, but the new rule will allow teams to put radios in two players' helmets. The catch is that two players with radios can't be on the field at the same time, but that is to make sure that only one is being used on offense and only one on defense at a time.
