Michael David Smith at AOL Fanhouse tracked down some of Kimbo Slice’s commentary during the K-1 World GP Final English broadcast. Kimbo was better at the commentary when he had a fight to talk about and didn’t have to carry the broadcast by himself. His opening line: ‘I love the city of Japan’ was reminicent of Karl Malone’s famous quip when he first met the media after being drafted by the Utah Jazz. ‘The Mailman’ said that he was happy to be in the ‘great city of Utah’. To which then Jazz GM Frank Layden responded “son, its a state.”
