Kirilenko Demands Trade (flag)
www.sltrib.com — "Andrei Kirilenko's summer of discontent apparently came full circle Tuesday in the form of a trade demand that echoed in Russian and English. Barely 48 hours after leading Russia to gold at the European championships in Spain, Kirilenko wrote in a blog post on the Russian Web site Sport Today that he was ready to leave Utah after six seasons."

That would be some blockbuster of a trade, but I think both teams would benefit.  I've heard rumors about this trade in the past, but it seemed to die down a couple weeks ago.  Phoenix could use a garbage man of sorts, and there is no one better than AK.  Plus, with Nash and Barbosa, he will still get many opportunities to score.  WIth Amare as the unquestioned go to man, there will no longer be any tensions in Phoenix.  Meanwhile, in Utah, putting Boozer and Marion together with Derron Williams forms quite a three headed monster.

But doesn't Marion want to be "the guy" or something? Isn't that why he wants out in Phoenix... because he's the 3rd option or something?

Nice to see foreign players catching up to Americans in being cry babies.  I find it hard to believe that playing basketball for $15 million/year leads to a "summer of discontent".

3rd Down & Full Count — Adios??? Image from Google image search Andrei Kirilenko Well, after a huge slumber following the draft, the NBA is back. And welcoming it back is a trade demand . Surprise, surprise. But instead of Kobe Bryant , this demand has been made (in Russian on a blog) by Andrei Kirilenko . This is the 2nd time this summer that AK has blasted the Jazz (and Jerry Sloan ). He impressed in the EuroBasket tournament while playing for Russia, and has his confidence back. At least the confidence to yet again come out, blast Sloan and demand a trade (in Russian on a blog). He s just forgetting 1 thing he sucked last year. He ...
