The chants for O.J Mayo were loud and often to begin the night but after he was selected #3 overall by Minnesota and Westbrook at #4 by Seattle, the Knicks fans inside the MSG theater settled on Jerryd Bayless as their object of desire. When the Knicks went on the clock at #6 overall, the crowd was strongly pulling for Bayless to be the pick. New York is such a warm and welcoming place. They are so open minded and they encourage their professional athletes, even if they are unhappy with them. LoL… Sike.
The New York Knicks fans who were in attendance at the NBA draft last night were hoping for a guard to be picked for their bumbling squad. First they wanted to get OJ Mayo. He got picked third. Than they wanted Russell Westbrook. Oops wrong again. With the 6th pick and arguably the second best point guard in the draft still available (Jerryd Bayless), they wanted the Knicks to go ahead and pull the trigger with him.

As you surely know, the NBA draft was last night. Derrick Rose, Michael Beasley, and OJ Mayo went 1-2-3 to the Bulls, Heat, and T-wolves. That last one is a recipe for disaster. I'm sure a southern California prima donna is going to just LOVE playing in Minnesota all winter long. In more interesting draft news, the Knicks went with 6-9 small forward Danilo Gallinari at #6. If you were watching the NBA Draft last night, you may have heard the chorus of boos that descended from the rafters as Danilo Gallinari - who goes by the utterly hilarious nickname "Big Cock" - was drafted by the Knicks.
Needless to say, Knicks fans were not pleased, as yet another forward is not exactly what they need to get them anywhere close to the playoffs.
