Kobe Scores 30, Lakers Hold Off Warriors in OT 123-119
If anything else, Monday’s matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors was highly entertaining, unlike a ummmm… Miami-Orlando game. The Lakers’ Kobe Bryant scored 23 second-half points, which were key in Los Angeles holding off Golden State 123-119 in overtime at a sold-out Oracle Arena. The game was nip-and-tuck through 3 quarters, with Los ... [link]

... Kobe Bryant had 30 points with 23 of them coming in the second half and overtime but he wasn’t the story in this one.  Wow, thats gotta be a first, the Lakers win and Kobe isn’t the story but Lamar Odom really stepped his game up in this one scoring 23 points and grabbing 21 rebounds.  His layup in overtime with 9 seconds left clinched the 123-119 win over the Warriors. ...

TLN’s Post-Game Report: Lakers vs. Warriors
This should have been one of those memorable games for the Lakers. Unfortunately, Stephen Jackson spoiled it. It’s amazing that the Lakers could score 111 points on 41% shooting and 8-27 threes. How did the Lakers jack up more threes than the Warriors? Kobe had 9 alone! The biggest problem for the Lakers was the fast pace which led to 18 turnovers. The Lakers just didn’t take care of the ...
TLN’s Post-Game Report: Lakers vs. Sonics
The Lakers continued their outstanding shooting tonight. They shot 61% from the field, 52% from three, 84% from the line, and had 8 different players score double figures. It was one of the better offensive efforts I have seen this year from a team, except Denver of course. The Lakers had 36 assists to only 9 turnovers. Defensively, they gave up 47% FGs, a little better than Phil ...
Supersonic!
With the Lakers hosting the 16 win, down and out Seattle Supersonics- and not even a full strength version, given the absence of Chris Wilcox and Mickael Gelebale- the conventional wisdom was that LA would coast to an easy win Friday night at Staples. Well, score one for the CW, since that's exactly what happened in L.A's 130-105 blowout win. The Lakers jumped out to a 17-5 lead 5:07 in, and ...
3/21/08 Box Score: Sonics 105 Lakers 130
Surely the Nuggets are superior to the Lakers - they beat us by a lot more points….right? The Lakers shot incredibly well - 60.7% from the floor, 52.2% from 3pt range, and 84.2% from the charity stripe. Tenth straight loss for your Seattle Supersonics. I really hate loosing to the Lakers under any circumstance, even if it keeps us in the hunt for a high draft lottery position.  ...
