Rise of the RaysKings of Kaufmann thinks the Royals should pursue Reid Brignac.  Reid Brignac is an interesting Rays player.  He’s come up through the Rays organization as a shortstop.  But, Jason Bartlett is firmly implanted there now.  Second base might be an option, but the Rays haven’t given him much opportunity there.  And, Sean Rodriguez seems to be waiting in the wings to take over that position, albeit perhaps in a platoon with Ben Zobrist. I think the Rays are going to have to make room for Reid or see what they can get ...
