So last week, the North Side of Chicago got an early Christmas present (or a late Hanukkah gift) when Kosuke Fukudome was introduced at a press conference after he signed his four-year, $48 Million contract with the Chicago Cubs. FanHouse — ... has some solid offensive numbers, but his defense is perhaps the most suspect part of his game. He was a woeful shortstop to start his career; he's since moved to the outfield and has become much improved. And, as this above clip shows, he's got a bit of a cannon. Honestly, I played right field during my baseball days and always tried gunning suckers out at first base. Even if the guy was hot-dogging it to first, this feat is impressive nonetheless.
