... The Texas Longhorns received their third commitment for the 2011 recruiting class after Julien Lewis gave the program his word on Monday. The 6-3 shooting guard received interest from Alabama, Texas A&M, Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and TCU among others. The future Longhorn averaged 18.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.7 assist last season for LaMarque H.S. in Texas as a sophomore. He will join Myck Kabongo of St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark, N.J., and Sheldon McCellan of Bellaire High in Houston, TX. Lexis ranks among the best shooting guards for the class of 2011. ...
