Lakers raise ticket prices for special 'premium' games
Ball Don't Lie — ... : "The Lakers on Tuesday unveiled a ticket premium that will add as much as $55 to the cost of an admission to seven home games during the 2008-09 season ...." Crunch the calculator watch — beep, bop, beep — that brings the ticket average to over $94. $94! The 'premium' games include action against Boston, Cleveland, San Antonio, New Orleans, Phoenix, Dallas and Houston. Still no word on whether the Lakers will offer a 'discount' price when, say, the Thunder roll into town. (Ha! Yeah right.)
