As some on Big Soccer may have guessed, Lance Watson is out of commission for a while. Lance suffered a broken foot last week against Velez Sarsfield and will undergo surgery tomorrow. We always hate to see a player go down, and these broken feet are becoming quite pesky! Roger Espinoza suffered a broken foot earlier in pre-season and missed the Argentina trip. There was a rumor going around bigsoccer recently that one of the posters swore they saw Lance Watson around town, a few days after he'd scored the goal against Defensa y Justicia in the Wizards first preseason game in Argentina. Turns out today that those rumors were likely true. Hillcrest Road is reporting that Watson broke his foot against Velez Sarsfield. He will have surgery tomorrow and will now be out for 6+ weeks. He joins Roger Espinoza on the side line, as both of them have a broken foot, Espinoza didn't even make the trip to Argentina because of it. ...
