SOX & Dawgs — ... struggle with David Ortiz out of the lineup but they have gone 16-8 without him in the lineup. The main reason is the bat of J.D. Drew. He is having a month of June to remember as his 3-run homer which helped propel the Red Sox to victory last night was the 11th of this month for him. Folks, he hit only 11 all of last season and has 15 so far this season. Despite an 0-for-14 stretch before the home run last night, Drew is .358 (29-for-81) with 11 home runs and 26 RBIs.
