Luis Aragones bitches about Raul. Oops, is that a TV camera at the back there?
Published 10/18/2007 by Rob Parker at Who Ate All The Pies
... comments which he didn't know were being recorded. Under pressure from fans - including one with a Raul mask - about the Real Madrid striker falling out-of-favour, Aragones said: "Do you know how many World Cups Raul has been to? Three. How many European Championships? Two. And how many World Cups have we won with Raul? None." The slip-up is two minutes in for those of you short on time or willingness to watch Spanish TV.

Botafogo's Luciano Almeida breaks his leg
Published 10/23/2007 by Rob Parker at Who Ate All The Pies
... while you are eating. Botafogo left-back Luciano Almeida broke his leg at the weekend and the footage is bordering on horrific. You always know its a nasty injury when even the opposition players are holding their heads in their hands. The video starts with Almeida seemingly wearing his leg the wrong way round. Keep watching until the end to see him picking the injury lunging for a tackle and the bottom half of his leg dangling.

Benfica fans attempt to defend Augustin Binya's indefensible tackle
Published 11/9/2007 by Rob Parker at Who Ate All The Pies
A Benfica YouTuber has begun clutching at straws like Celtic midfielder Scott Brown was clutching at his leg after the horrendous tackle by Augustin Binya the other evening. In defence of Binya, this compilation of "hard tackles" by Celtic players has been put together. There are fouls in this video, yes, but Binya's assault is in a different league completely.

Pato, Before He Was the Messiah
Published 1/16/2008 by Martha at The Offside
... | January 16th, 2008 As hard as it is to believe, there was a once a time when no one knew anything about a kid called The Duck. When Pato made his debut for Internacional, he was all of 16; 90 minutes, three assists, and one goal later, everyone knew his name. Published 5/7/2008 by Rob Parker at Who Ate All The Pies
Match of the Day 2's 2 Good, 2 Bad review of the season Throughout the season the 2 Good, 2 Bad feature on Match of the Day 2 has been good for the occasional chuckle. They rounded up their 2007-08 coverage with a compilation of some of the best bits of the season, as well as last weekend's funny moments. It is worth watching for some true Gaydar moments involving Danny Murphy and Jimmy Bullard, and Sulley Muntari and a ref. Spotted on 101GreatGoals
GIF of the week: Did John Terry spit at Carlos Tevez?
Published 5/23/2008 by Rob Parker at Who Ate All The Pies
... Well, you can make your own minds up from this GIF. Just what is JT doing behind that sleeve? If he was trying to hide it from the referee, it is far from subtle. Anyway you can mull it over and let us know. Enjoy your Bank Holiday weekend (unless you live in a country that does not have one, in which case enjoy your normal weekend. And if you live in a country that doesn't have a normal weekend, move). GIF via 101GreatGoals
