An attorney representing the ex-girlfriend of Brandon Marshall says the Broncos wide receiver is lying when he claims that his March arrest was part of a “shakedown” attempt.“His story that he has been a victim is as pathetic as the story that he slipped on a McDonald’s bag and injured his arm,” said David McGill, a lawyer for Marshall’s ex-girlfriend Rasheedah Watley. “Hopefully, he will be as eager to tell his story in a court of law, under oath, as he has been in the media.” Marshall was arrested on March 6 because, an Atlanta Police Department report says, Watley told ...
