Mike Lowell and Kevin Youkilis provided the offense today with a home run and a strange triple. Josh Beckett also pitched a decent game for his eighth win of the season. In the third inning, Youkilis hit a two-run triple.

Despite giving up only two runs, Masterson pitched another good game, but Yankees pitcher Mike Mussina pitched a better one. Masterson pitched 6 innings giving up 2 runs on 6 hits with 2 strikeouts and 2 walks.
