Congratulations to Jon Lester on his no-hitter tonight against the Royals, which can only serve to further infuriate Hank Steinbrenner knowing now that Lester and Clay Buchholz each have thrown a no-no while Ian Kennedy and Phil Hughes have yet to accomplish a thing in the major leagues.
I don’t know if they’d even make the movie of the kid coming back from cancer to pitch a no-hitter if it was a work of fiction, but that’s Lester’s incredible story, and he shut down a very ...
