Let's All Laugh at Kevin Love

In what has become an annual ritual, UCLA is bounced from the Final Four. But in a first on this season in ferocity and hilarity, Kevin "Chest Pass in the Flesh" Love catches a mean one courtesy of Memphis guard Chris Douglas-Roberts. He and Joey Dorsey certainly enjoyed it, why shouldn't we?

  This kid can play, and in a storied program known for centers, the pressure is on.    He handles it well.

  I blame Ben Howland. Not once did I see UCLA try to run the play where Love comes off the screen and shoots a 90 footer from the other baseline. From the videos I've seen, that's all they've been working on in practice this week.

Throw Down the Big Man!
The Sporting Blog — ... the Carolina Tarheels today, it only seems fair to get some bracket symmetry going by posting a little vid of the losing team from the other side of the tourney. A clip of Chris Douglas-Roberts throwing down quite heftily on Kevin Love should do the trick, I believe. Joey Dorsey's point-and-laugh reaction might be a bit unnecessary, but then you could argue that Love trying to flop (I tend to think he did anyway) that close to the hoop puts him at posterization risk anyway.
