The announcement came out last night that Gary Sheffield’s switch to full time left fielder had come to an end after only 5 games. But again, if his lineup can't score any runs for him, it's not going to matter how well he throws today. Perhaps it's an encouraging sign that the Tigers have averaged seven runs over Rogers' last four starts. (Of course, they were also shut out in each of his three starts before that, so...)
