I've been wrestling with my feelings all day. Cito & JP are already talking about next year . The trade rumours swirl. Dustin McGowan and Shaun Marcum are on the DL. The team is still in last place, despite showing signs of life last night. Me? I still think baseball is pretty fucking great. I mentioned liberated fandom in one of the the first ever Ghostrunner on First posts. [link]

Toronto Blue Jays starter Dustin McGowan exited Tuesday's contest with the Orioles with a sore shoulder after four innings and today was placed on the 15-day disabled list. McGowan underwent an MRI today but no test results were made available. With the All-Star break approaching, the move was made as a precaution.

JP Ricciardi, taking calls on the Fan590's post game show, gave Wilner an update on Dustin McGowan's MRI results, saying that there is a "tear" in his shoulder. They will send him to Dr. Timothy Kremchek, who performed BJ Ryan's Tommy John surgery, but hope that he won't require surgery. That's what he said: "tear". It's not jumping to conclusions if he said it, right?
