There has been some speculation recently about the Detroit Lions adding some veteran players, but the team really is only considering one player. Linebacker Takeo Spikes, who was in for a visit, is a candidate to be signed because the Lions are unsettled at that position and Spikes was playing well for the Philadelphia Eagles last year before he got hurt.
