Lions cut Kenoy Kennedy
The Lions continued overhauling their secondary Friday, releasing veteran safety Kenoy Kennedy. Kennedy signed with the Lions as a free agent in 2005 after five years in Denver. He arrived with the reputation as a heavy hitter but didn’t lay that many licks for the Lions. He struggled to tackle at times last season, most notably Dec. 2 at Minnesota, when running back Adrian Peterson
