Lions sign free agent TE Courtney Anderson

Sylvan was promoted from Detroit's practice squad for Sunday's 56-21 loss to Philadelphia after Dan Campbell was placed on injured reserve with an elbow injury. Anderson had 25 catches for 285 yards and two touchdowns last season with Oakland.
