    This story is a good example of why sports fans should read blogs as well as the media. You get the complete picture. More and more bloggers bring insight and perspective to the teams they cover. Patrick Patterson case for how the Raiders got to their present status is another case of thoughtful analyis.

      I remember those criticisms of Gru back when he was the head coach in Oakland. Too many look back at that time with rose coloured glasses.
