Madden 2009 Releases Team And QB Ratings
Published 6/2/2008 by Awful Announcing- (noreply@blogger.com) at Awful Announcing
The video game world is abuzz today with the release of some of the rankings for Madden 2009. The early indications are that Madden did a pretty good job with the team rankings but the QB ones are a little jacked up. First the teams via Shutdown Corner... ...
IT'S HAIR SPLITTING TIME!

... (via Shutdown Corner). These ratings offer the best of both worlds: they're effectively early power rankings for sensitive people to piss and moan about and they actually have a bearing on a game you'll spend far too much time playing. That is, until roster updates come out. ...
Steelers Get Some Love From Madden

[image] Time to bitch and moan. The Penguins have only won in the Finals when I didn't devote a post to them earlier in the day. It seems that if I write about the team, they lose. So let's talk Madden. The team and QB ratings all popped up (via everyone: AA , MJD , SportsGamer , With Leather and Pasta Padre ), and its time to look at how our Steelers stack up. I'm not one to obsess over Madden (although I do love to play it), but the ratings mean that Madden is closer to arrival, which means football is in the foreseeable future, which ...
Madden ‘09 Thinks Collins > Campbell
Published 6/2/2008 by Jamie Mottram at Mr. Irrelevant
At a BBQ yesterday, my friend Brian asked the guys huddled around the grill who should start for the Skins in ‘08: Campbell or Collins? None of us thought much of the question, but now that the Madden ‘09 ratings have been released, well, maybe it’s one worth asking. To quote MJD on Shutdown Corner:
Jason Campbell gets disrespected with an 84, while Todd Collins, still listed as the 2nd string quarterback, gets an 85.
So I’ll address this rating the same way I addressed Bull’s query, by stating ...
Well John Madden is wrong.

... John Madden is predictably unpredictable, that no matter who is playing he's guaranteed to talk gibberish about some such many times over the course of the game, and I get to laugh at this old man about it and not feel bad, because deep down I know he's laughing too. Or isn't. It doesn't really matter. What matters is that John Madden will never die.
As much love as I have for the man though, his newest game done screwed up bad. CptChaosSidekick knows it. As does the blogging institution that is MJD:
Jason Campbell gets disrespected with an 84, ...

Madden ‘o9 Ratings, Now We Just Have To Wait Til August With This Hard-On
Published 6/3/2008 at Posterboy Sports with Bill Palmer
madden09.jpg The Madden ratings have finally broke c/o MJD over the the Yahoo blog, Shutdown Corner and the Pasta Padre (incredible blog about all things that are football video games). Ricky Williams is back with a rating of 80, but there is no sign of Pac Man so he’ll have to be a roster update that you’ll have to wait for. So get ready and look forward to seeing Brett on the cover, make sure to ask them to double bag it come August. Comments
