Pro Football Talk is reporting that Adam Caplan is reporting that the Vikings are working out the parameters of a contract with S Madieu Williams, late of the Cincinnati Bengals . The Bengals lost Madieu Williams to the Minnesota Vikings after the safety came to terms with a six-year, $33 million deal. The deal includes $13 million in guarantees and $17 million through the first three seasons. It also appears that Smith will likely sign with the San Francisco 49ers, though he still has a visit with Minnesota in store. Unless something unexpected happens, Smith will be a former Bengal.
