I'm happy to see that it looks like Frank Thomas has had a soft landing after being released by the Blue Jays. The Oakland A's have signed the Big Hurt presumably to a league minimum deal (unless a team offered more money than the Blue Jays contract, the amount of money Thomas makes is the same). With Travis Buck hitting the disabled list (again), this means that Jack Cust may have to have to dig through his cassette tape collection and High School lettermen's jackets in storage to find his glove.
